What is Diclazuril?
Diclazuril is a triazinobenzonitrile compound, which is a new, highly effective, low toxicity anticoccidial drug, widely used in chicken coccidiosis.
1. Poultry: Diclazuril has an excellent effect on tender, pile-type, toxic, Brucella and Giant Eimeria coccidia in chickens, and is an ideal coccidicide as it can effectively control the occurrence and death of cecum coccidia and even make all coccidia oocysts disappear in sick chickens. Diclazuril is also highly effective in alleviating Eimeria coccidia. Clinical trials have shown that diclazuril is more effective against coccidia than other conventionally used anticoccidials and ion carrier anticoccidials such as monensin.
2. Rabbits: 1mg/kg of the drug is highly effective against liver and intestinal coccidia in rabbits.
