What is Veterinary Dimetridazole?
Dimenidazole is a special antiprotozoal drug for animals, it can inhibit the redox reaction of amoeba and break the nitrogen chain. Application of Dimenidazole in Poultry
1. Histomoniasis
Chickens aged 2-4 months are fed mixedly, and 500g of dimetridazole is added per 1 ton of feed. Prevention and treatment of liver necrosis and cecal ulcers caused by infection with Histomonas.
2. Prevention and treatment of chicken salpingitis
Regularly carry out the prevention and treatment of salpingitis in chickens: mixed feeding, per 1 ton of feed, use 1 kg of dimenidazole + 1 kg of 10% amoxicillin soluble powder. Use continuously for 5-7 days; prevent blood-spotted eggs and deformed eggs.
3. Prevention and treatment of necrotizing enteritis
For mixed feeding, 1 kg of dimenidazole + 1 kg of 10% ampicillin soluble powder is used for every 1 ton of feed.
1. Postpartum anaerobic infection of sows
Sows were fed mixedly from 3 days before delivery to 5 days after delivery. For every 1000 kg of feed, 1 kg of dimenidazole + 1 kg of 10% amoxicillin soluble powder was used.
2. Clostridial enteritis, Treponema swine dysentery
In the early stage of fattening, mixed feeding, for every 1 ton of feed, add 500g of Dimetridazole for prevention; 1000g for treatment; use continuously for 14 days.
3. Antiprotozoa
Trichomonas, trichomonas, amoebas, parenchyma coli, flagellates, etc. (preferred for antiprotozoa) For mixed feeding, add 1 kg of Dimetridazole for every 1 ton of feed; use it continuously for 7 days.
