Specified Amount: Contains Florfenicol (C₁₂H₁₄Cl₂FNO₄S) 90.0% to 110.0% of the specified amount.

Active Ingredient: 500g Florfenicol / 1000g Premix.

Description

This product is a white or off-white powder.

 

Indications

Florfenicol antibiotic.

For the treatment of Bacterial diseases in freshwater fish and marine fish (such as Large Yellow Croaker, Sea Bass, etc.) caused by susceptible bacteria including Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas fluorescens, and Vibrio spp.

Common Diseases: Bacterial septicemia, gill rot, enteritis, red-skin disease, ulcer disease, etc.

 

Dosage and Administration

Dosage is based on Florfenicol Administer mixed with feed.

Per 1kg body weight of fish: 10～15mg Florfenicol.

Alternatively, based on feed amount: Add 0.2g ~ 0.3g of this product per 1kg of feed.

Calculation Note: This product contains 50% Florfenicol (500g/kg). A dose of 10~15mg Florfenicol per 1kg fish is equivalent to 20mg ~ 30mg of this product. For 1kg of feed, the addition rate is therefore 0.2g ~ 0.3g.

Administration: Mix the calculated dose of this product evenly with the daily feed ration. A binder (e.g., starch) may be added to form medicated feed pellets.

Course of Treatment: Once daily for 3 to 5 consecutive days.

 

Adverse Reactions

No adverse reactions have been observed when used at the recommended dosage.

 

Precautions

1.Ensure Homogeneous Mixing: The premix must be thoroughly and evenly mixed with the feed.

2.Observe Withdrawal Period: The withdrawal period is 375 degree-days at 23°C and above.

Example: At 25°C water temperature, withdrawal period = 375 ÷ 25 = 15 days.

At 20°C water temperature, withdrawal period = 375 ÷ 20 ≈ 19 days.

Below 23°C, the withdrawal period should be extended accordingly. Consult a local aquatic veterinarian.

3.Dispose of Packaging Properly: Empty packaging bags should be disposed of properly and must not be discarded indiscriminately.
