Pharmacological Action:
Ivermectin:A broad-spectrum anthelmintic agent that acts by activating glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrates, leading to paralysis and death of parasites. It is highly effective against a wide range of internal nematodes and external arthropod larvae in horses.
Praziquantel: A highly effective anti-cestodal agent. It causes tetanic contraction of the parasite’s musculature and damage to the tegument, leading to the dislodgement and subsequent digestion of tapeworms.
Indications:
For the treatment of infections in equines caused by:
Nematodes:Large strongyles (e.g., Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus), Ascarids (Parascarisspp.), Pinworms (Oxyuris spp.), Stomach worms (Habronema spp.), Lungworms (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi).
Cestodes:Anoplocephala perfoliata.
External Parasites:Bots (oral/stomach stages of Gasterophilus spp.).
Dosage and Administration:
Route of Administration: Oral Administer using the provided graduated syringe.
Dosage:0.5g (1 graduation mark) of paste per 50 kg body weight.
Dosage Guide:
A 500 kg horse: Administer 10 graduations (the entire 6.5g syringe).

Administration Instructions:
1.Turn the dial at the end of the syringe until the plunger end aligns with the required graduation for the horse’s body weight.
2.Remove the cap from the tip of the syringe.
3.Insert the syringe tip into the horse’s mouth via the interdental space, aiming over the tongue.
4.Depress the plunger firmly to deposit the entire dose onto the back of the tongue.
5.Ensure the horse has swallowed the paste.
Adverse Reactions:
Adverse reactions are uncommon when used at the recommended dose. Transient depression or reduced appetite may occur rarely.
Precautions:
Accurately estimate the horse’s body weight for correct dosing. Underdosing may reduce efficacy, and overdosing should be avoided.
For use in equines only. Do not use in other animal species.
Do not use in foals weighing less than 50 kg.
Do not use in mares producing milk for human consumption. Meat and milk from treated horses should not be used for human consumption during the withdrawal period. **(Observe the specified withdrawal period according to local regulations or veterinary advice).**
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Do not use in animals hypersensitive to the active substances.
