Oxytetracycline HCl  30% Water Soluble Powder

Each 100g contains:

Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride (as active ingredient) 30g

Excipients (e.g., lactose, dextrose, or carrier) q.s. to 100g

Indications:

Treatment of bacterial infections caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive organisms in livestock (poultry, swine, cattle, sheep, goats, and fish).

Effective against Gram-positive & Gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, and Rickettsia.

Commonly used for respiratory infections, enteritis, mastitis, foot rot, and wound infections.

Dosage & Administration:

Poultry (chickens, ducks, turkeys): 200–400 mg/kg feed (or 1–2g per liter of drinking water) for 3–5 days.

Swine: 10–20 mg/kg body weight (or 1–2g per 10L water) for 3–5 days.

Cattle/Sheep/Goats: 10–20 mg/kg body weight (or 1–2g per 10L water) for 3–5 days.

Fish (aquaculture): 50–75 mg/kg body weight for 5–7 days (via medicated feed).

Withdrawal Period:

Poultry: 5–7 days before slaughter.

Swine: 7–10 days before slaughter.

Cattle/Sheep/Goats: 10–14 days before slaughter.

Milk: 3–5 days (not to be used in lactating dairy animals producing milk for human consumption).

Precautions:

Do not use in horses (risk of fatal diarrhea).

Avoid concurrent use with penicillins, bacteriostatic antibiotics, or calcium/magnesium-rich feeds (reduces absorption).

Store in a cool, dry place (below 25°C/77°F), protected from light.
