What is Sodium Percarbonate?
Sodium percarbonate, commonly known as solid hydrogen peroxide, is an addition compound of hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate, decomposing to produce oxygen, water and sodium carbonate, with an effective active oxygen content equivalent to 27.5% of hydrogen peroxide. Sodium percarbonate not only has the function of liquid hydrogen peroxide, it rapidly decomposes at lower water temperatures to release oxygen thereby achieving oxygenation, bleaching, decontamination, sterilisation, odour removal and other functions. In terms of oxygenation, it is mainly used to relieve and relieve fish, shrimps, crabs and other aquaculture animals from floating heads and pond flooding caused by lack of oxygen.
