INDICATION
Treatment of infections of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital system, including infections of the skin and the soft tissues caused by tylosin-sensitive pathogenic germs.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
10 mg/kg bodyweight i.e. 1 ml/20 kg bodyweight once or twice daily for 3-5 days, by deep intramuscular injection.To ensure a correct dosage bodyweight should be determined as accurately as possible.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not administer to horses.
Do not inject more than 10 ml of solution per injection site and use alternate sites for subsequent injection.

Tylosin tartrate is a macrolide antibiotic widely used to treat a variety of animals against gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases which are caused by bacteria and microorganisms such as campylobacter, mycoplasma, and Pasteurella. In chickens tylosin tartrate treats chronic respiratory disease, while in turkeys tylosin tartrate can help to reduce the effects of infectious sinusitis. For swine, tylosin tartrate helps to treat and control dysentery and ileitis, and in calves tylosin tartrate can be used for the treatment of pneumonia.
